Profession Confession

If I was a photographer before high quality phone cameras and Instagram filters came out, how would I feel now?

If I was a draftsman before 3D Computer Aided Design (CAD) software became the modeling industry standard, how would I feel now?

If I was a data practitioner before ChatGPT could convert text to SQL to an interactive visualization, how would I feel now?

There is room for technology to replace entire roles. At the very least, it can alter the kinds of skills required. Yet, there are still professional photographers and fabrication/manufacturing experts. How do I need to adapt to remain relevant and valued in the data profession?
