To Do/Ta Da

I added yet another task to my To Do list and the sinking feeling returned.

My managers, colleagues, friends, loved ones, and even my own self kept proposing important tasks to be done. I diligently added them to my list.

This used to push me to grind harder in hope that I could resolve all the requests at work, attend every friend hangout, learn the next best technology, and explore the most fulfilling hobbies. I did not want to disappoint myself or others. I did not want to miss out.

However, I realized the rate at which I add to-dos far exceeds the rate I finish them. I can never tick all the boxes!

This realization meant I could open myself up to one of the most significant opportunities - the magical possibility to be intentional about what to do - every minute, every hour, and every day.
