Every personal trainer and coach says stretching is critical for peak performance in athletics. Why don't we do the same for business?

In business objectives or personal life, the term "stretch goals" indicates setting intentionally hard goals that require pushing yourself to the limit. The dogma is that you need to treat yourself or your team like an elastic material to expand further and do more with less.

But in sports, stretching is not the main objective. It is simply a way to prepare your body before and after a strenuous activity.
